Danger Games is a family project.
Curtiss has always loved board games and has spent decades pursuing every creative outlet he could find. Ultimately, his love for board games and passion for design have led him here.
Erica is ultra-competitive. She loves board games, too, but only until she loses. Then she hates them for 24-48 hours. There is no game 2 for momma unless she won game 1. She's a lot of fun, though, knows a great game when she plays one, and isn't afraid to tell "The Dad" when she thinks an idea is dumb. That makes her a perfect partner in the quest to make great games.
The kids are 3, 5, 7, 9, and 100% crazy. The older 2 love board and card games. The younger 2 love throwing all of the pieces from board and card games all over the house. This combination helps us not only play test with elementary-age humans but also gives us the opportunity to see how durable our components are.
Between the 6 of us we have a great team working on some great games.
Why "Danger Games?"
Our son Ethan's middle name is Danger. Yes, legally. That negotiation process was one of dad's crowning achievements. Ethan is our tabletop game guy. He genuinely enjoys everything about them and loves to be involved with design. So he gets his name on the billboard.
